Tabletop Productions, operated by Jim Krause, has been creating high quality video programming since 1994. Tabletop caters to broadcast, industrial, and educational clients but also provides service to arts organizations and not-for-profits.
What we do: Tabletop does it all from writing and design to production and editing. We offer services ranging from single camera video/photo packages to multi-camera studio productions. We are happy to provide turn-key, stress-free production services. We're pleased to have our photography featured in Bloom Magazine and our documentaries broadcast on PBS and APT affiliates.
We also offer graphics and post-production services and have two editing bays equipped with Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere. We can carry out production-related needs such as production management, procurement of gear and talent, location scouting, scripting, instructional design, and training. We also have done quite a bit of work for legal professionals.
Who we are: Tabletop Productions is run by Jim Krause, who has been creating innovative video projects for 30 years. In addition to producing, Jim Krause has been teaching at Indiana University since 1999, now a member of the Media School. He is a composer, musician, sailor, and outdoorsman. He has led seminars and workshops, and teaches advanced production classes including TV Studio Production, Digital Video Cinematography, Program Graphics and Animation, and Video Field and Post-Production. Jim holds degrees in telecommunications and audio technology as well as a masters in instructional systems technology.
